Dear parents,

Our first day in Olot was very happy.

We started the day going to Castellfollit de la Roca with the coach. In Castellfollit we walked around the town and we had breakfast. We took photos, a lot of cool photos.

But don’t worry it rained just for ten minutes.

We went by coach to Olot, we had lunch in Torre Malagrida and we had free time.

We divided the class into two groups. We watched a power point about the Garrotxa volcanoes. There are 40 volcanoes. The parts of a volcano are: cambra magmàtica, la xemeneia, el cràter, les colades de lava and el con volcànic.

There are two kinds of cràters:open and aside with a U shape and the close-centred with an O shape.

There are two kinds of explosions: explosive lava with lots of gas and efusive without gas.

In the afternoon we walked and discovered Olot. With a map we had to answers some questions about buildings and streets.

We came back and we unpacked. Now we are telling you our fantastic first day!!!

 El nostre primer dia a Olot ha sigut molt xulo.

Hem començat anant a Castellfollit de la Roca amb l’autocar. A Castellfollit hem donat una volta pel poble i hem esmorzat. Hem fet fotos molt xules, ens voleu veure sota la pluja???

Però no us preocupeu, només ha plogut deu minut. Hem anat en autocar a Olot, hem dinat a la Torre Malagrida i hem tingut temps lliure.

Hem dividit la classe en dos grups. Hem mirat un power point sobre els volcans de la Garrotxa. Hi ha 40 volcans. Les parts del volcà són: cambra magmàtica, la xemeneia, el cràter, les colades de lava i el con volcànic.

Hi ha dos tipus de cràters: oberts al costat en forma de U i cèntrics-tancats en forma de O.

Hi ha dos tipus d’explosions: explosives de lava amb molt gas i efusives sense gas.

A la tarda hem caminat i descobert Olot. Amb un mapa hem respòs preguntes sobre els edificis i els carrers.

Hem tornat i hem desfet les motxilles. Ara us estem explicant el nostre fantàstic primer dia!!!
